What
is a Giclée Print?
A giclée is a high resolution reproduction
print of an original art work. (pronounced “jee-clay”)
The
print is made using state-of-the-art digital reproduction
technology. Print colors are superbly matched to the
original work. When printed properly on similar media
as the original work, then mounted and framed, it is
difficult to distinguish the giclée from the original.
The
archival nature of the print will preserve the original
color for many years. In addition, Arthur's prints are
protected with a special ultraviolet clear liquid laminate
coating that resists damage from ultraviolet light, air,
scratches and moisture.
